What We Believe

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

Core Beliefs

At Keypoint Church, these beliefs reflect what we hold to be true about God, His Word, and His work in our lives. They are the foundation of our faith and the lens through which we pursue the mission of Jesus.

The Bible

We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God. It is our final authority for faith and life and is true, trustworthy, and without error in its original writings.

God - The Trinity

We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each is fully God, equal in power and nature.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is fully God and fully man. Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead on the third day, ascended into heaven, and will return again in power and glory.

The Virgin Birth

We believe Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, confirming that He is the Son of God.

Core Beliefs Cont.

The Ressurection

We believe Jesus physically rose from the dead in a glorified body and now sits at the right hand of the Father in heaven.

New Life in Christ

We believe that a person must experience new life through the Holy Spirit to truly know God.

Salvation

We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is not earned by good works. Through repentance, we receive forgiveness and commit to turning from sin and following Jesus.

Sanctification

We believe sanctification is the ongoing process of becoming more like Christ as we yield to God’s Word and the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
